Equinox ceremony devoted to AGNI
UPASANA, together with the elders of other Slovene native nature centered (old) faith groups, codesigned a unique equinox ritual devoted to agni in collaboration with Homa ritual practitioner Rok Koritnik. The Agni (SI:OGNJI) ceremony was matched with Slavic deities Svarog, Perun and Svarožič, (the fire in the Sky, the fire of the atmosphere and the fire on Earth).

We had a couple of months negotiations on developing a joint understanding on translating both traditions , Vedic Homa and Slavic into a one, comprehensive ritual thread.
The ritual was for the first time performed on Autumn Equinox, on Sunday 20th September in Domžale, East of Ljubljana. This time, the ceremony was only open for invitees, however, the assembly of elders aims at making the ceremony traditional and open for public.
